Brussels’ Reyers-Centrumtunnel to close all summer for major renovations

Brussels(The Brussels Morning Newspaper): The Revers-Centrumtunnel in Brussels will be closed from July 22 to August 31 for essential maintenance causing significant traffic disruptions. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes like the A12 or N2 and consider public transport.

The Reyers-Centrumtunnel in Brussels which is an important entry point from the east at the end of the E40 will be shut down for the whole summer break. They’re closing it to do necessary maintenance and renovation work to make the tunnel safer and better. They’ll be fixing the structure updating safety systems and improving the lighting and air circulation. They haven’t said exactly when it will reopen.
