What is Turkey’s role in the Ukraine war?
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has recently paid a visit to Turkey. Apart from this, the other key issues were the establishment of bilateral relations, economic and agricultural issues, and society cooperation.
In the words of Zelenskyy, the degree of cooperation between Ukraine and Türkiye is constantly increasing. In special, two documents were signed in the presence of the Presidents: the Memorandum of Cooperation in Media and Communications and the Agreement on Cooperation in Education.
He highlighted this during Zelenskyy’s visit to Ankara. Erdogan said that Turkey would do its best to assist in concluding the negotiation process with lasting stability. He also put his nation forward as an “ideal host for possible discussions between Russia, Ukraine, and the USA,” claiming that Turkey is witnessed as a “reliable mediator” by both sides.
