Belgium (Brussels Morning), As a general rule, understanding the past is essential in comprehending the present. Hence, inspired by the post-war American comic books era, I crafted a story based on real events about the development of a secret league called “Dissident Society” after WW2 in Eastern Europe.

The narrative revolves around its members, who fight against oppression and protect people from all socio-professional backgrounds. A series inspired by the lives of people behind the Iron Curtain, starting from the establishment of communist regimes until their downfall.

As I lack talent for drawing, I have used an AI program to create the necessary illustrations based on my prompts. I aimed to demonstrate that in the digital era, anything is possible, and it’s up to us how we use technology.

The concept offers a digital experience, integrating significant and intriguing aspects from my research – for instance, Stalin’s post-war transmission or Churchill’s March 1946 speech – “Sinews of Power”, available as links in underlined text.
