Celebrating cleanliness: Net Brussel’s holiday preparations and educational activities

Brussels (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): Net Brussel is preparing for the holiday with trash bins and educational activities on waste management. After the celebrations 50 workers will ensure a thorough cleanup for public areas.

The day before the big holiday the Net Brussel teams start getting everything ready to keep things clean and tidy during the celebrations. They put out 30 trash cans and 6 glass containers at Jubelpark to handle the crowds and keep the place clean. On the holiday morning they’ll put out over 400 extra bins along the parade route and at different spots where events are happening to deal with all the trash from the celebrations. On the holiday 50 workers will be out there to keep things clean all day. They’ll watch over the trash situation and make sure the event places stay neat and in order. If any problems come up they’ll be there to help out.

What fun activities will Net Brussel ofer on July 21 to promote cleanliness and waste management?

On July 21 Net Brussel will have fun activities to teach people about keeping things clean and handling trash well. They’ll set up a stand where visitors can learn about cleaning jobs, reducing waste and sorting trash. It has been said that there will be games to play that are both fun and educational showing how to manage waste effectively. The goal is to make learning about cleanliness easy and enjoyable so everyone understands how it helps make cities better. During the event people can try sitting in a street sweeper to see how they clean up public places. Net Brussel will give out pocket ashtrays and orange containers to encourage responsible trash disposal. The ashtrays are for cigarette butts and the orange containers are for small trash helping to keep public areas tidy and neat.

After the holiday,Net Brussel will clean up the squares and streets to get them ready for normal traffic again. They’ll pick up and get rid of lots of trash from the celebrations clean up any mess or litter left from the events and make sure the streets look like they usually do. Some workers might have to work late into the night because cleaning up after the big party is tough. Net Brussel’s team will put in a lot of effort and focus on the details to handle the mess from the celebrations. They’ll work hard to finish the cleanup quickly and well so the public places can go back to normal and open up for traffic again as soon as possible.
