In June 2023, a plea agreement between Hunter Biden and the persecutors has been reached agreeing to probation for filing his taxes late and entering into a diversion program on the gun charge. Nevertheless, prosecutors working with Mr. Weiss, who is running Hunter Biden’s case, have stated that “holding Hunter Biden is essential for ensuring the principle that no one is above the law.” Mr. Weiss, at the same time, has been appointed by the Trump US attorney in Delaware, what can complicate the situation of the defendant.
Nonetheless, American public is believing that the son of US President cannot be sentenced despite the willingness of American judicial system to judge everyone equally.
