Belgium (Brussels Morning Newspaper): Since 3rd December Tuesday morning, Telenet customers in Belgium have had major network problems, affecting calls and mobile internet. Spokesperson Bart Boone said issues arose after planned maintenance. Telenet is working to fix it but hasn’t given a timeline.

Since 3rd December Tuesday morning at 7:00 AM, thousands of Telenet customers in Belgium have been dealing with major network problems. Many users are unable to make phone calls or access mobile internet, causing a lot of frustration. Customers have reported that their devices cannot connect to the network at all today. The issues seem to affect many areas, but Telenet has not yet explained what caused the outage.

What are Telenet’s current network issues and when will service be restored?

Telenet has acknowledged the issue and assured customers that their technical teams are working hard to fix it. However, they have not provided a timeline for when full service will be restored. In the meantime, Telenet advises users to check their website for updates and troubleshooting tips, such as restarting their devices or checking network settings. Customers who need further assistance can also find support options on the Telenet platform.

The fault map on allestoringen.be shows many issues with Telenet, which a spokesperson, Bart Boone, said is due to problems after planned maintenance last night. The network has been restarting since 7 a.m., and customers are slowly regaining access, but it may take time for everything to be normal again. When the network restarts, many people try to call at once, which can overload the system and cause unstable connections. Boone mentioned that fixed internet and television services are not affected.
