Warsaw (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk accused Russia of plotting acts of sabotage worldwide, including air terror against airlines.
During a news conference in Warsaw, President Donald Tusk was joined by Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy.
“I will not go into details; I can only confirm the fact of fears that Russia was planning acts of air terror, not only against Poland but against airlines around the world,”
Tusk stated.
The authorities in Warsaw state that Russia is seeking acts of hybrid war against Poland and other Western nations in retaliation for their support for Poland’s neighbor Ukraine in its fight against Russia’s full-scale invasion.
The government has blamed Russia and its ally Belarus for inciting a migration crisis on the EU’s eastern frontier with Belarus in order to create confusion and division in the EU. Last year, Poland’s foreign minister called the closure of one of three Russian consulates in the nation in response to acts of sabotage, including arson aggression that he expressed were sponsored by Moscow.
