Bruges (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): A horse in Bruges got scared and crashed into a house after leaving the market. It is now safe and resting in a field away from heat stress.

It has been said that the incident in Bruges with the horse and carriage was intense. The horse got scared near Wollestraat after leaving the market. It stood up on its back legs suddenly because something scared it and its back leg got stuck making it hard for the horse to move correctly. The horse while trying to free itself lost its balance and crashed into a nearby house. This caused a lot of worry for both the horse and the building so the emergency services had to come and help to make sure everyone was safe.

What caused the Horse incident in Bruges?

After the horse crashed into the house in Bruges the coachman FrĂ© Pintelon and his colleague calmed down the scared animal. The police then set up a safe area to keep people away and prevent more accidents. Their quick action helped handle the situation and keep things under control while they helped the distressed horse. After everything settled down they put the horse on a big truck to take it somewhere safe. Now the horse is resting in a field at Pintelon’s place, where it can relax and get better. The field is a quiet and peaceful place for the horse to recover and feel calm again.

FrĂ© Pintelon said that the horse incident in Bruges wasn’t because of the heat. He mentioned that they keep the horses at home when it’s very hot around 30 degrees Celsius to prevent them from getting stressed because of the heat. This is part of their regular plan to take care of the horses during extreme weather. Pintelon said that on Monday it wasn’t even close to 30 degrees hot so the incident wasn’t because of the heat. He stressed that they always keep an eye on the weather to protect the horses’ health. It has been said that things other than temperature played a role in what happened.
