Mol, Belgium, 31 August (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Belgian prosecutors have launched an investigation into the suspicious death of a 28-year-old woman whose body was discovered inside a property on Doornboomstraat on 30 August.
Authorities have not publicly confirmed whether the woman resided at the address. An autopsy has been scheduled to establish the cause and exact circumstances of her death.

The Antwerp public prosecutor’s office initiated the inquiry after early assessments indicated unclear circumstances surrounding the incident. An investigating judge, forensic specialists, a medical examiner, and police personnel processed the property overnight to collect physical evidence.
Prosecutor’s office spokesman Kristof Aerts stated that authorities are keeping all potential explanations open. Officials have not made any arrests, named potential suspects, or formally declared the death a homicide while technical examinations continue.
