Save the entrepreneurs, save Europe

Belgium, (Brussels Morning) Skyrocketing inflation and surging energy prices are not the only SMEs’ problems. They are newsworthy, but every entrepreneur knows there are many difficulties to deal with when running a business. That’s why we have decided to found an ONG called “Imprenditore non sei solo” (ndr. Entrepreneur, you are not alone). Nobody deserves to be alone so we decided to take a stand and start this new organisation. We aim to provide the tools to run successfully a business: every month we have a class in which volunteers (other entrepreneurs trained by the organisation) help the ones in difficulty, to succeed in managing their business on these essential points:

– HR Management

– Financial Management

– fiscal and legal aspects

– everything else related to the safety of the business and the people involved.

This process is completely free of charge. At the same time, we don’t provide financial aid to the companies in difficulty, but we transfer the knowledge required to increase the economy of their companies by themselves so that we can be sure that they truly know how to run their business on their own without depending on us. In this way, we also make sure that they will not make the same mistakes that led them to trouble again.

In the past four years, we have helped more than 600 companies. These companies are now paying taxes and salaries and suppliers regularly, they are happy and they are on a path to prosperity. For all these reasons we would like to export our model to other countries in the European Union. The effort is not high in terms of investment but the outcome can be life-changing for a lot of people and governments as well.

We strongly believe that every entrepreneur deserves a second chance, in Italy as well as in Europe. The problems that companies in crisis face are often the same:

1. They don’t have control of the numbers. They don’t know their marginality and how to contain costs and they don’t know how to face sudden changes in the worldwide market conditions(like the one we are facing with energy now)

– they don’t have a unique value proposition.

– they are surrounded by toxic people or have the wrong people in key roles in their companies that they don’t know how to manage.

– they don’t know how to sell their products or services.

– they are lost as people and keep on doing mistakes over mistakes

We believe there is a way to help companies in crisis and we have the keys to succeed in this ambitious task. If we don’t stand up for them and we stand still we will be accomplices of this ruin! Every company in crisis is our problem and we have the moral duty to help them for the sake of our society.
