Ingelmunster (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Neal Remmerie and Senne Haverbeke from Ingelmunster hid in a stadium toilet for 27 hours to watch the Champions League final without tickets in Munich.
They demonstrate this in a TikTok video. They managed to get into the game without a ticket by locking themselves in the restroom for 27 hours.
“It was the most beautiful football match we have ever seen.”
“I’ve never gotten so much satisfaction out of making a video,”
says Neal (20) in an interview with our editors.
Last weekend, he and his friend Senne broke into Munich’s Allianz Arena, the football stadium where PSG and Inter will play in Saturday’s Champions League final, Belgium.
To put it mildly, their method is remarkable.
“The plan was to get into the stadium the day before the final. UEFA (the organiser of the Champions League, ed.) security is very good, so trying to break in on the day itself seemed impossible. Only if we were inside the day before would it work.”
What motivated Neal and Senne to watch the Champions League final without tickets?
Football fans Neal and Senne were inspired to watch the Champions League final without tickets because they wanted to see what they described as “the most beautiful football match ever.”
Since official tickets are extremely expensive and difficult to obtain (they can sell for hundreds of pounds on the black market), they decided to take a risk and watch the game live. Despite not having tickets, their resolve to attend this legendary athletic event shows how far some fans will go to experience the thrill and atmosphere of a major football final.
