How did Captain Vanderroost lead Leuven to success at the Beach Frisbee World Championship?

According to Vanderroost, when things went wrong, the Leuven team focused on finding solutions instead of blaming each other, which helped them stand out. The Jetset frisbee club earned their place in the World Championship by winning the Belgian Championship last year and has been preparing for it for a year.

According to Vanderroost, they didn’t find many videos of the American team they faced in the final because they don’t play on the beach often. The Beach Frisbee World Championship is held every four years, and this year, 120 teams from over 30 countries came to Portimão, Portugal. In the women’s division, a new youth team called Torrijas players from Gentle in Ghent and FreezzzBeezzz in Bruges, took 4th place in their first international tournament. Another team from Jetset Leuven, called Jetset LUV, finished 6th in the same division.
