Gearing up for Easter… that’s Brussels’ Autoworld

Martin Banks

With Easter approaching, spring is in the air — it’s time to bring out the summer clothes and sunglasses.
For the next three weeks, the new Lancia exhibition at Autoworld in Brussels is not to be missed.

Until April 19, the expo will take you to Italy, through Lancia’s elegant world and rich history. It will showcase Lancia’s exceptional heritage through 14 unique cars.

You can discover iconic prototypes and legendary rally cars such as the Stratos, the 037, and the Delta HF Integrale — each a milestone in innovation and design. Did you know, for instance, that Lancia was the first car brand to introduce a self-supporting body (monocoque)?

A spokesman said, “This is a unique opportunity to experience up close the rich history and sporting dominance of this Italian brand.”

The exhibition will close in style with a Cars & Coffee on April 19.

From April 24, the museum then turns its attention to the United Kingdom to showcase the history of Aston Martin through a selection of its most iconic models.

The new exhibition will kick off with an animated Preview Night in a stylish casino atmosphere.

The exhibition, ‘Aston Martin – Elegance in Motion’, is a chance to discover the history of Aston Martin — a brand born from a passion for motorsport, with origins dating back to 1913.

From the 1925 Side Valve to the legendary DB5, and recent creations such as the Valour and the unique Aston Martin Viktor — each model embodies craftsmanship, power, and refinement.

During the spring holidays (April 4–19), families will also have plenty to enjoy: children can take part in a treasure hunt around the museum in a convertible and have a chance to win a fun surprise.

In the Kids Corner, children can draw, build with LEGO, and let their creativity run free. For this spring, a convertible treasure hunt through the museum is also organized.

Each participant receives a small surprise — and during the Easter weekend, it will even be something sweet.

Reminder: school holidays in Flanders: April 6–19 / in Wallonia: April 27–May 10.
