Antwerp (Brussels Morning) – On August 25,2020 criminals attempted to steal cocaine at a Antwerp port but were thwarted by a vigilant guard. The trial for their leader Bolle Jos faces complications.

On August 25, 2020, the NV Andromeda tanker ship was docked at quay 208 with hazardous substances onboard and a crew member had tested positive for COVID-19. X a Brabo port company employee was assigned to guard the ship that night ensuring nobody entered or exited. Meanwhile a group of criminals from Antwerp and the Netherlands planned to steal a large amount of cocaine from a reefer container at the Belgian New Fruitwarf quay based on decrypted messages from Sky ECC intercepted by FGP Antwerp investigators.

Botched Cocaine Heist: Bolle Jos Trial Unfolds

On August 25, 2020 criminals led by Johannes Bolle Jos’ Leijdekkers known as Holly or Jose Breda planned to steal 476 kilograms of cocaine from a reefer container. Leijdekkers who goes by El Presidente organized the operation with his associate Isaac Bom Bignan. Other individuals involved include Yannick Flash W. and Flor Bressers who arranged weapons and equipment.

However, their plans were thwarted by a vigilant Brabo port employee guarding the quay. Leijdekkers attempted to distract the guard but when that failed he ordered a more aggressive approach mentioning a SWAT team and hostage situation. The situation escalated quickly with gunfire reported.

On that night the fire watch was attacked by five men in dark clothing while he was on his phone. They dragged him across the quay punching and kicking him. Bolle Jos suggested shooting the man in the knee if he resisted. The man managed to escape swimming to safety after being chased. Later he returned to the NV Andromeda ship where he was eventually rescued after being in the water for 45 minutes. The Public Prosecution Service is seeking severe penalties against those involved including Jos Leijdekkers his right-hand man Isaac B. and others implicated in the attack.

The trial for Bolle Jos and his associates had a rough start. Lawyer Frank Scheerlinck defended his client Zakaria El K  wanting their case separate from Bolle Jos and Flor Bressers. Another lawyer Hans Rider asked for federal magistrate Marianne Cappelle as a witness claiming she intimidated defense lawyers. Rider said Flor Bressers lawyer, Yehudi Moszkowicz was arrested without reason suggesting Cappelle’s involvement.

Antwerp’s Drug Kingpins: Hunt for Justice

Antwerp’s Most Wanted includes notorious drug criminals like Bolle Jos (Johannes Leijdekkers) known for his organized drug operations and Turtle (real name undisclosed), both sought after for their involvement in large-scale drug trafficking. Bolle Jos gained notoriety for his role in orchestrating a failed cocaine extraction operation at a Belgian port in 2020 while Turtle remains elusive with law enforcement agencies actively pursuing leads to apprehend him. These individuals, along with others on the list represent the top targets in Antwerp’s ongoing battle against drug-related crime with authorities seeking to bring them to justice and dismantle their criminal networks.
