Belgium (The Brussels morning newspaper): This year during the summer season Uccle (Belgium) received 323 mm of rain, thus it was the 5th stormiest summer since 1991. The duration of the gleams was 619 hours but, on average, the temperature during this season was relatively high.

They have had a lot of rain this summer in Uccle, Belgium 323mm which is more than the normal 234.2mm. For this reason, summer 2024 is now classified as the fifth wettest summer between 1991 and 2020. 2021 had the most summer rains on record when Belgium experienced severe flooding and got 410.7mm of rain in total.

What were Uccle, Belgium’s Summer 2024 weather patterns?

The highest day’s rainfall totaling 41.8mm cam on July 9th. From region to region across Belgium the average rainfall in 1997 had huge variations. In some places like Côte people got 70% as much as they usually do since all averages are based on 90 years and only generations curse dealt with this big disaster in the making. Other areas of Belgium Lorraine (not pictured here) received about 115%. The most rain fell in Herinnes, with an impressive 64. 8mm on July 31st. This year, the summer of 2024, was the sixth successive season in which more rain fell than usual. Before that records began in 1833 since then there are only five other cases.

Uccle’s summer commenced with chillier temperatures than customary but progressively warmed up towards the end. Summer was a little hotter compared to the average temperature that stood at 18.3 °C against the normal 17.9 °C. The coldest temperature recorded over all territories was 1.3 °C on June 13th in Neu-Hattlich (Eupen).  The maximum temperature of 36°C was registered in Zele on August 12th. Uccle experienced more sun than usual during this summer when sunshine lasted for a total of 619 hours and 26 minutes.
