Turnhout (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): A violent incident in Turnhout involved a 44-year-old man seriously injured during a knife attack by a 36-year-old suspect. Two brothers, aged 36 and 31, were arrested for attempted manslaughter. The victim is in critical condition.

A violent incident occurred on 6th October in Turnhout, starting with an argument between two men at the Turnova site in the afternoon. The victim, a 44-year-old man, had a heated exchange with a 36-year-old suspect, though the reason for their dispute is unclear. Later that evening, the victim went to the suspect’s home on Rubensstraat, likely to resolve their disagreement, but another argument broke out between them.

What caused the Turnhout stabbing involving a 44-year-old victim?

The second argument quickly got worse when a knife was taken out, which led to the victim being seriously hurt. Authorities arrived at the scene, and the suspect was arrested. Investigators are now trying to find out why this dangerous fight happened and if it could have been stopped.

A man was seriously stabbed in the side and taken to the hospital, where his life was in danger because of his injury. The authorities quickly responded and arrested two suspects shortly after the attack. The victim needed urgent medical care, and it was still unclear if he would fully recover. The two individuals arrested in connection with the stabbing are brothers, aged 36 and 31. The police detained them, and the public prosecutor’s office decided to charge both men with attempted manslaughter. They will be brought before an investigating judge, where the case will move forward as the authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances of the attack.

According to the public prosecutor’s office, the recent stabbing incident is not related to the one that occurred last Friday in Merodelei, Turnhout. This means that there is no connection between the two incidents. Authorities have emphasized the importance of treating each case separately to avoid any misunderstandings.
