What caused the tram line disruption in Antwerp?

The truck had an aerial work platform that was too tall for the tram lines, causing it to catch and pull down the cable. Nike Neirynck from the Antwerp Fire Department mentioned that this made the tram line cable hang dangerously low at about 2 meters. This was a big safety issue so they needed to act fast to make it safer. The Antwerp Fire Department quickly fixed the aerial work platform back on the truck safely. They also cleaned up the road because of oil leaking from the incident. Making sure the area was safe was important to get traffic moving again and keep everyone safe. There was a problem with some tram lines run by De Lin like lines 1, 10, 12, and 24. Technicians from De Lin came quickly to fix it. They sorted out the issues on lines 1, 10, and 12 fast but they’re still working on fixing line 24, which might take a few more hours. De Lin suggests that people who usually take tram 24 should check their route planner for updates and other ways to get around until everything is back to normal. It’s really important for people who rely on trams to use the De Lin route planner to figure out how to get around while tram line 24 is still having issues. The quick action taken by De Lin’s technicians shows they’re working hard to get things back to normal fast, so passengers are not too bothered. While they’re fixing things it’s a good idea for commuters to keep checking for updates in real-time to change their travel plans if needed and avoid delays.
