Swift Police Action Foils Kidnapping Attempt Saves Victim in Anderlecht

Anderlecht (Brussels Morning) – Three masked men kidnapped a man but police found him tied up and doused in motor oil at a storage facility. The victim is safe and three suspects were arrested.

On Saturday night around 9 p.m. something  happened. Three guys in masks forced another guy into a van and drove off quickly. People who saw it happen got really shocked and called the cops right away.

How Did Swift Police Action Thwart a Brutal Kidnapping on Saturday Night?

The police got the call and started looking for the van right away. With help from what people saw and security cameras they found where the van was pretty quickly. It turned out the van was at a storage place kind of a quiet spot where the bad guys were hiding out.

When the police got there they were careful because the kidnappers could be dangerous. They found the kidnapped guy in the van scared but not hurt. The police acted fast and they caught the three masked guys who did the kidnapping.

The news agency Belga said that even though the victim went through a scary time they are okay which is good news. The police spokesperson from the South police zone which covers Anderlecht, Sint-Gillis and Forest, confirmed that the victim is safe.

The police caught three people at the place where the victim was found which is a big step forward in the case. The spokesperson mentioned that the investigation is still going on so they are working hard to figure out all the details and reasons behind the kidnapping. The quick action by the police not only kept the victim safe but also showed how important it is for everyone to watch out for each other and for the police to act fast.
