Tienen (The Brussels Morning Newspaper):Walter Kestens praised this year’s Suikerrock festival as possibly the best yet with a full crowd, mostly good weather and a successful new setup that enhanced the experience for attendees.

Walter Kestens who runs Suikerrock was happy with this year’s festival. He said it might be the best one yet. The festival had a full crowd for all three days and the weather was mostly good except for one rainy night. People really liked the festival’s posters and how everything was set up which helped make the event a big success. Kestens said that having lots of space at the festival site was a big addition . It would have been hard to do this in Tienen‘s downtown. He said that the new setup was a hit with everyone and it helped things run smoothly making the festival a success this year.

How does Suikerrock strive for excellence each year?

Kestens said that every year the Suikerrock team looks at how they can make the festival even better. They work on getting a variety of great acts that appeal to lots of people. They also make sure the performances on the smaller stages are top-notch to give everyone a great show. Kestens said that where the festival happens is really important. The place is made so that lots of people can come to the concerts without feeling squished. They plan everything carefully from the lineup to how the area is set up to make sure everyone has a great time at the festival.
