You don’t need alcohol or drugs to party hard, according to Ethelle and Victoria, so the duo is launching ‘Focking Sober’, a concept for lovers of techno, punk, rap, drag and clubbing who want to explore new forms of nightlife, without the intoxication from alcohol or drugs.

The party doesn’t have to be any less intoxicating for the two friends who met seven years ago when they both kicked drug addiction. Today they call themselves ‘raving athletes’ who don’t want to pay for their urge to go out hard with a hangover or the consequences of a destructive addiction.

“We like to party, but as ex-addicts it’s hard to go out in an environment of booze and drugs.” That is why the women came up with a nightlife concept where people can party just as hard without alcohol and drugs. The first edition of Focking Sober will take place on Thursday 14 September from 6 pm in nightlife temple C12, where the doors will swing open to anyone who wants to experience or discover what going out without alcohol and drugs means.

The music of 24 artists in the discotheque on the Grasmarkt provides a party night, where at the same time five multidisciplinary artists exhibit their diverse work: from paintings and drawings to tattoos and digital art.
