Sint-Niklaas (Brussels Morning Newspaper): Sint-Niklaas offers a free shuttle bus service to Heimolen cemetery during the All Saints’ Day weekend. Operating from 9 AM to 5 PM, it stops at four locations and runs every hour, facilitating visits without prior booking or cost.

In Sint-Niklaas, the Heimolen cemetery has not had a regular bus stop since December last year. Now, visitors have to use the Flexbus service instead of the old dial-a-bus. This service needs people to book their rides in advance because it only runs when requested.

How can visitors access Heimolen cemetery in Sint-Niklaas during All Saints’ Day weekend?

Sint-Niklaas is arranging a free shuttle bus from the city center to the cemetery to make visits easier during the All Saints’ Day weekend. The shuttle will run on a set schedule throughout the weekend, allowing people to visit without booking the Flexbus or paying for transportation. It has been said that this service helps those who may have difficulty getting to the cemetery, making it easier for everyone to visit during this important time.

The bus, which can carry 16 passengers, stops at four locations: the station, Grote Mark, Waasland Shopping, and Heimolen Cemetery. It operates on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, leaving the station for the cemetery every hour and returning to the city center every half hour.
