Iran’s Regime Grapples with Rising Resistance Amidst Mounting Fear of Uprising

Iranians on the protests in Trafalgar Sq over Mahsa Amini’s death - London 05 - 11 - 2022

Belgium (Brussels Morning Newspaper), Who doesn’t know that kilometers of winding underground tunnels, sometimes 60 meters deep, which are very costly, as well as the existence of missile arsenals and drone manufacturing plants, cannot be the work of Hamas alone. However, proponents of a policy of appeasement with the Iranian regime initially tried to wash their hands of the blood-stained regime of the mullahs and claimed they had no evidence of the Iranian regime’s involvement in this war.

In this war that kills innocent children, the winner so far is Ali Khamenei, not Israel. Every war crime, no matter the side, benefits Khamenei, and he uses it to avoid a significant loss of strength, to motivate and excite his forces, and to cultivate hatred in the region. One of the regime’s officials, mullah Hamid Rassaei, stated that even if 50,000 people are killed in Gaza, it would be in favor of the mullahs’ regime.

Israel may lose this war regardless of this fact. It might succeed in eradicating Hamas, but the monster of terrorism is in Tehran, which has been producing war and terror for forty years. It is like Dracula, feeding on the blood of the children of Gaza and also the blood of tens of thousands of Iranian children sent to minefields during the Iran-Iraq war.

Terrorism and warmongering have been institutionalized under the government of the Mullahs, and the Quds Force was created to lead foreign militias.

This war is a turning point that has opened two paths for everyone. The path of peace and the path of war. The path to peace goes through the recognition of the two states of Israel and Palestine based on UN resolution 222. And the path of war is to extend it to other countries and kill more.

Perhaps Hamas can be eradicated. But the continuation of the war and massacres will continue to feed forces more radical than Hamas and will also be supported by the terrorist proxy in Tehran. Because the main problem remains. This will fuel antisemitism everywhere, even in Western countries.

The mullahs’ regime fears the expansion of the war and does not want Hezbollah to get involved to avoid its expansion. At the same time, it supports the continuation of hostility between Israel and Hamas, and of course not a large-scale war. Khamenei is determined to maintain this gain. And he aims to elevate this hostility to a conflict between the Islamic world and the West. In his first speech after the start of the war, Khamenei declared that “the entire Islamic world has a duty to support the Palestinians, and God willing, they will.”

He wants to elevate the main war between the Iranian people and his regime to a war between Muslims and Israel. And forget the threat of overthrowing his regime, justified since 2017 by widespread riots nationwide in Iran.

The destruction of Israel is just a pretext to create war and gather forces in the region. Khamenei never intended to go to war against America or confront Israel because he would lose and eventually lose his government. It should be noted that in Iran, the mullahs could not mobilize the people and trigger demonstrations against Israel. People who have paid the price of the regime’s war and terrorism for forty years with the heavy burden of hunger and poverty of two-thirds of the Iranian people know very well that this war is only for the benefit of Khamenei, and they do not want to be played by the Mullahs.

Contrary to what the regime tries to show, the regime of the mullahs clings to this war at its weakest points. Last week, Alejo Vidal Quadras, a former European deputy and critic of the Iranian regime, was the target of an assassination attempt in Madrid, which he himself attributed to the mullahs of Tehran. More than 600 executions since early 2023 are the best sign of the weakness and deadlock of the Iranian regime.

Like all other dictators, Ali Khamenei has recently ousted some deputies and further narrowed the circle of insiders. The regime is surrounded by an uprising from which it finds no way out. All the economic and material cultural factors that provoked this uprising are still present. And to get rid of it, according to an internal report leaked on November 8, 2022, Khamenei claims that to get out of this blockade, it is necessary to create a crisis beyond the borders and in the region, particularly targeting the Arab countries, notably the Saudis. Saudi Arabia must be used for moderation purposes with the Abraham agreement. And inside, he repressed more and more.

The real war in the region is between the Iranian regime and the people of this country. It is the only original war to liberate Iran from the invaders of religious fascism and the region from chaos and crisis, and we should focus on it.
