Rainfall and Unpredictable Weather in Belgium Linked to Climate Change Extreme

Brussels (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): Belgium has experienced heavy rainfall for 10 months with July being wetter than usual setting new records. The rainy pattern is attributed to hot, stormy air from the sout causing thunderstorms. Climate change is making Belgium’s weather more extreme and unpredictable.

Belgium has had lots of rain for ten months now. In July it rained a lot. Last month ended sunny with temperatures at 30°C but July was wetter. The Royal Meteorological Institute says it’s been raining more than normal setting a new record. The weather in July was influenced by fronts from the Atlantic Oceans.

What factors are causing Belgium’s recent extreme rainfall and weather changes?

This rainy pattern has been going on for a while. The rainy weather in Belgium is due to hot and stormy air coming up from the south causing thunderstorms. Belgium has been rainy for ten months. In July it rained a lot. It has been reported that the temperature wasn’t colder than normal and it even got really hot over 30°C near the end of the month. The amount of sunshine was normal. It has been reported that Belgium’s weather is unpredictable  but with climate change. it’s getting more extreme. Intance weather like heavy rain, floods and water shortages. Climate change is making Belgium’s weather weirder and more unpredictable.
