Police car collision disrupts traffic injures two in Bruges

Bruges (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): On 16th August morning at 9:30 AM a police car responding to an emergency collided with a passenger vehicle on Buiten Katelijnevest injuring two people including an officer. Traffic was severely disrupted as authorities investigate the incident.

On 16th August at morning around 9:30 AM there was a serious accident on Buiten Katelijnevest the bridge going to the station. A police car which had its lights on and siren going because it was responding to an emergency crashed into a passenger car. The police were on their way to help when the accident happened but it’s not clear how it occurred. Emergency services arrived quickly at the scene and made sure the area was safe. Authorities are looking into what caused the accident and how the crash happened. The incident has caused a lot of disruption.

What caused the Police car collision on Buiten Katelinevest?

It has been said that the crash was hard and both vehicles were badly damaged. Two people including a police officer had minor injuries from the accident. After the crash both vehicles had to be towed away which caused big traffic jams in the area. The road was crowded because of the towing making it harder for many people to get to work this morning. Authorities are looking into what caused the accident to understand what happened and to help prevent similar accidents in the future.
