The show is scheduled for September 14, 2025, Belgian National Day. Frontman Floris Willem said the band’s mix of classical and pop rock will appeal to many listeners. Many Japanese journalists are expected to attend, allowing the group to showcase their music internationally.

Floris and the Flames will perform at the World Expo in Osaka after being invited by the European embassy, a follow-up to their performance at the Dubai World Expo 4 years ago. The band said the invitation is no coincidence and promised an energetic show. They will be joined by Musti, who represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest. The visit will last less than 48 hours.
Floris and the Flames is a Belgian group founded in 2017 by violinist Floris Willem, Gert Peeten (piano, guitar, electronics), Dries Peeten (bass), and Simon Schrooten (drums). The ensemble combines classical music with pop, rock, and folk elements, resulting in a unique sound that has earned them attention not only in Belgium but across the globe.
