According to resources this year’s Lego fair in Geel was a great success, with more than 200 Lego builders from 10 different countries participating. The organizers were very pleased with the turnout. Visitors had the opportunity to help create a large mosaic made of 40,000 Lego blocks, an activity for people of all ages. 

What creative models and charity efforts were highlighted at the Geel Lego Fair?

The Lego fair featured detailed models of famous landmarks and figures, including the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, a realistic animal stable, and portraits of icons like Marilyn Monroe and Salvador DalĂ­. Each creation was made entirely from Lego blocks, highlighting the builders’ creativity. These displays, along with the opportunity to participate in the mosaic project, contributed to a memorable event for visitors and builders.

At the Lego fair in Geel, visitors had the chance to view creations made by Lego fans and purchase Lego sets. This allowed attendees to take home their own sets. The selection of Lego sets was suitable for all ages, from beginners to experienced builders. A key part of the fair was its charity effort. A portion of the money from Lego set sales was donated to Help Brandwonden Kids in Mol, which supports children with serious burns. The charity helps with their medical and emotional recovery.
