On 25th October around 11 p.m., a fight occurred at a metro station, escalating when two individuals ended up on the tracks. It has been said that the situation became critical when a metro train approached them on the tracks.

What measures are being taken to prevent dangerous incidents on Brussels metro tracks?

The metro driver quickly stopped the train during that situation. Laurent Vermeersch, a spokesperson for the Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company (MIVB), said it was risky because there are 900 volts of electricity on the tracks, which can cause electrocution.
