Right away, the man’s driver’s license was suspended for 15 days. He has to go to court later.

What measures are being taken to prevent violence and drug influence among public transport staff?

Public transport operators and authorities have implemented a comprehensive array of measures to prevent both violence and drug influence among their staff. These strategies aim to protect employees, ensure passenger safety, and uphold service reliability.

Staff receive regular training in conflict resolution, handling difficult situations calmly, and reporting incidents effectively. This builds skills to manage violent or aggressive passengers without escalation.

Employees are educated about the dangers of substance abuse, how to recognize signs of drug influence among peers, and the importance of seeking help if needed.
