On 21st September Saturday morning around 10:30 AM, there was a traffic accident on the N31 in Bruges, heading towards Doornik. A truck and a car crashed, making the car flip over onto its roof. Emergency services quickly arrived, and the car driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The truck driver was not hurt. Even though the accident looked serious, there were no deaths reported.

What are the traffic disruptions and investigations following the N31 accident in Bruges?

The accident caused big traffic problems on the N31. Authorities got there quickly to help manage the traffic and start clearing the area. They are still investigating what exactly caused the crash, but their main focus right now is to make the road safe and get traffic back to normal as soon as they can.

The cause of the accident on the N31 is still being looked into because authorities haven’t figured out what led to the crash between the truck and the car. The N31 is blocked, causing big traffic delays. All vehicles are being sent to the nearby road, which is now the main alternative route for drivers trying to get around the accident. Traffic management teams are at the scene to help drivers and keep the detour running smoothly. While the investigation is ongoing, crews are also working to clear and check the area for safety. Authorities are asking drivers to be careful and patient while passing through the affected area, as traffic jams are likely to continue until the road is reopened.
