Piet Verwijk mentioned that the tower is a major investment in time and resources, evident in its impressive scale and engineering. Designed for thrill-seekers, the ride offers an intense experience. He said that riders are secured and lifted to a height of 85 meters, equivalent to a 25-story building, before experiencing a breathtaking drop at 90 kilometres per hour.
How is the 85m Mission Impossible Tower changing Bruges’ skyline?
According to Piet Verwijk, the Mission Impossible Tower has bright, colourful lights that make it shine at night. But, they were careful about using too much light and energy. He says the lights aren’t on all night. The city didn’t want that, and they wanted to save money on electricity. People like that they are trying to be green. They mentioned that the lights are only on when the ride is open, so it looks good without bothering people or wasting power.
The Mission Impossible Tower is a prominent new addition to the fairground, easily visible regardless of its lighting. This temporary installation has altered the skyline of Bruges, a city known for its historic architecture.
