Brussels (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): Paris 2024 has seen the recommendation of Selma Van Kerm from the Belgian Paralympic Team that includes 14 winners of Tokyo. The goal of the team is to earn medals expecting more than three million people to be present.

The group of 29 athletes shared this news at a press conference on Wednesday. Selma Van Kerm was added to the team going to Paris this weekend. The team includes 14 out of the 15 winners from the Tokyo Paralympics. They have top champions like Roger Habsch who won two bronze medals in the wheelchair races in 2020 aiming for gold this time.

What events will Belgium’s athletes Compete in at Paris 2024?

Talking about Belgium with respect to Olympic Games this year three athletes will go there. Selma Van Kerm will take part in the 400m race. The marathon races will be visited by Martin Clobert. Man-Kei To will take part in badminton. When our athletes are preparing for Paris together as families it is an awesome thing  Marc Vergauwen . This would be the first time for athletes from the nation to compete since they last took part in the 2016 Rio De Janeiro Games.

For example it shows how things can appear differently and end up with the same results. 1st January 2020 was a point in time set against which progress towards certain predetermined objectives would be measured within various sectors focusing on rural communities including those solely dependent on subsistence farming as a means of existence.

Delighted by the interest of the people in the Paralympics the Committee is expecting more than three million fans to pack the stadiums, according to BPCs Managing Director and Chief of Mission Olek Kazimirowski. Kazimirowski said they would want to do better than three years ago in terms of medals at the Paralympic Games in Paris from August 28 to September 8. He added that it’s about performing on the day if one is going to be there with the best of the best.
