Brussels (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): A bright and sunny Wednesday in Belgium with temperatures at around 25°C-30°C. But Thursday is marked by a cold front characterised by coolness and partially cloudy weather with temperature values that are about 20°C. On Friday rains will occur as the weekend temperatures remain constant.

Wednesday will be sunny with some clouds and temperatures will range from 25°C in the southeast to about 29°C in Brussels. In some areas like the Kempen in the northeast of Belgium it might even reach 30°C. The Royal Meteorological Institute  said that Belgium hasn’t had many days over 30°C this year. A high-pressure area over the Baltic States will move to Russia tomorrow but it’s bringing good weather for us today  the RMI mentioned on its website. A wind from the southeast and later from the south will bring dry and warm air from the continent to our country.

How will Belgium’s weather change from Wednesday to Sunday?

Starting Wednesday night a cold front will move over Belgium from the west leading to increased cloudiness. On Thursday cooler air will arrive due to a west to northwesterly wind  the RMI explained. On Thursday it will be partly cloudy and mostly dry but there might be a few showers here and there. Temperatures will be a bit lower around 20°C by the sea and between 25 to 27°C in the east. According to the RMI as a weather system moves from France to Belgium there may be some rain or showers today. Temperatures will stay around the same as Thursday On Saturday there is a mix of some showers and clouds and the thermometer climbs a little higher  from 22 to 28°C. Sunday will be like Saturday the difference is that theres a possibility of showers but it will be after all even hotter 29°C upcountry and in north east In the days to come sky is mostly without rain and somewhat cooler with maxima back to around 21°C. This change is due to a north-northeast flow from the international meteorological organization Joint Typhoon Warning Center.
