The Walloon Brabant public prosecutor’s office confirmed that two bodies had been discovered. Belgian media reported that the 22-year-old man, from Oud-Heverlee, had previously been reported missing.
Rail traffic between Wavre and Sint-Joris-Weert was temporarily suspended while emergency services and investigators worked at the scene. Services resumed at around 8am.
