Ismail Ertug has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2009. He works on the green transformation of the transport sector in the Transport and the Industry Committee. In 2013, he was already shadow rapporteur for the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive, the predecessor of the AFIR. Last week his AFIR report was adopted by the Transport and Tourism Committee of the European Parliament by 36 votes to 2 and 6 abstentions.
