David Abrahamyan

David Abrahamyan is the co-founder and artistic director of Dakapp. He studied viola under Maestro Oleg Lev, Diemut Poppen, and Boris Belkin and played in the Mozart Orchestra under Claudio Abbado.
Since 2013, David has split his time between his role as Artistic director of
Dakapp, selecting the best repertoire and interpreters while negotiating with academic institutions and corporate partners, and also continues to perform around the world as a chamber musician, playing with musicians such as Daishin Kashimoto, Sergey Babayan, Sebastian Klinger, Diemut Poppen, Clara-Jumi Kang and Evgeny Sudbin. David has presented
concerts and masterclasses all across the globe, including the USA, Spain, France, Germany, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, Italy, and Austria, to mention a few.
