Anderlecht police investigate stabbing incident, victim stable

Anderlecht (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): On 1st August at thursday night someone was stabbed and taken to the hospital. They’re okay now. Police are trying to find the attackers by checking evidence and talking to witnesses.

On 1st August at Thursday night at about 9:40 PM the police got a call about a bad attack where someone was stabbed many times in the legs. When the emergency helpers arrived they found the injured person but the attackers had already run away. The police don’t know who are the attackers . They are looking into it to find them and figure out why the attack happened. The police are working hard to collect any clues and information from witnesses to help solve the case.

How is the Police investigating the stabbing?

When the police reached the place they gave first aid to the person who was stabbed multiple times in the legs. Realizing how serious the injuries were they quickly called for emergency services. The paramedics arrived and took the victim to the hospital for further medical treatment. When the victim was injured his legs were seriously hurt but he is now stable. The doctors say he is no longer in immediate danger. The police are investigating the attack to find out who did it and why it happened.

The police made a boundary around the place where the incident happened to keep all the important clues safe for the investigation. This way they can analyze any evidence or traces without anything getting lost. The police are talking to people who might have seen what happened and checking any videos that show the area. They will also test the evidence they found at the scene in a lab. The investigation is going on to know that who stabbed the victim and why.
