What community activities is Adam organizing at Warande in Turnhout?
Adam was excited about the success of a recent event at the Warande, calling it a “very pleasant afternoon.” He enjoyed talking to the 15 young people who gathered in the Kub foyer and felt the positive energy showed that the project could benefit the community. After the event, he expressed hope for the future, seeing it as an opportunity for fun activities together. Adam plans to organize more events in the coming weeks to maintain the good vibe. The cultural center invites young people every Wednesday from 12 to 6 PM and aims to involve them in planning future activities to address loitering issues.
According to Adam, he used to hang out in Turnhout and wants to help young people. He said, “I have a bad past and have done stupid things.” Adam wants to support young people so they don’t make the same mistakes. He remembers not having places to go when he was younger and wants the Warande to be a nice place for them. “It doesn’t always have to be an activity, just hanging out is good too. If they need to talk, I’m here to listen,” he said.
