Aalst incidence: 58-year-old man survives, partner dies, son hurt

On the 28th of September morning, around 10 a.m., an accident happened at Houtkaai in Aalst. A car with three people suddenly went off the road and crashed into the Dender River. The reason for the crash is still unknown, and authorities are trying to figure out what happened. Witnesses saw the car swerve before it went into the river, but there were no signs of mechanical problems or anything else causing it. Emergency services quickly arrived, and divers and rescue teams worked hard to get the car and the people out of the water.

What caused the fatal Aalst car crash?
