Ypres (Brussels Morning Newspaper): A moped car collided with another vehicle on Poperingseweg near Ypres around the afternoon, causing the second car to overturn. Emergency responders rescued a trapped woman without major injuries. The moped driver may have been blinded by the sun.

A crash happened just before noon on the Poperingseweg road, connecting Ypres and Vlamertinge. A moped car was turning onto the road when it collided with another vehicle. The impact was so severe that the second car flipped onto its side. Emergency responders, including firefighters, were called to the scene because there were reports of people trapped inside the car, making the situation more urgent.

What happened during the moped crash in Ypres and how was the Woman Rescued?

When the fire department arrived at the scene, they found that the situation was not as serious as first thought. Captain Dirk Vandekerckhove from the Westhoek Fire Department reported that a woman trapped in the overturned car was rescued and did not have any major injuries. The emergency responders managed to get her out quickly and without problems. The fire department ensured her safety before handling the situation completely.

A woman was rescued from her car after an accident when workers removed a window. An ambulance checked her, but she didn’t want to go to the hospital. They mentioned that the driver of the moped car may have been blinded by the low sun. Her car was damaged and towed, while the other car had minor dents.
