Brussels (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Reactions from European Union leaders rushed in as Donald Trump took to the stage in Florida to declare election victory after securing almost sufficient electoral votes to defeat his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris.
President of the European Council Charles Michel congratulated Donald Trump on his election victory. âThe EU and the US have an enduring partnership and a historic bond. As allies and friends, the EU looks forward to persisting our constructive cooperation. The EU will pursue its course in line with the strategic plan as a strong, united, competitive and sovereign partner while defending the rules-based multilateral system,â Michel expressed on X.
