On 11th October, police were checking traffic and issued fines to six drivers for not having a valid vehicle inspection certificate. Two more drivers were fined for using their phones while driving, which is illegal and dangerous.

What are the consequences of traffic violations for truck drivers during police inspections?

During the operation, police stopped several trucks for inspections. They found issues that resulted in fines for trucks with broken lights, a safety risk, and unsafe loading of cargo, which can be dangerous for the truck and other drivers. This shows the police’s commitment to road safety by checking both vehicle conditions and driver behavior.

Two foreign truck drivers were caught using their phones without hands-free devices while driving. This serious traffic violation increases the risk of accidents. The police acted quickly, ordering both drivers to pay their fines immediately. Since they were from another country, they had to settle the charge on the spot before they could continue. After paying, their trucks were left behind, meaning the drivers could not continue their journey until they made other arrangements for their vehicles.

In addition to the fines, the authorities suspended both drivers’ licenses for two weeks. This temporary suspension meant they could not drive any vehicle during that time due to their dangerous behavior. The combination of the fines, losing their trucks, and the license suspension warning about the importance of following traffic safety laws, especially for professional drivers of large vehicles.
