A retired woman from Brussels is facing a serious legal issue because she has received 32 speeding tickets for exceeding the speed limit on the E40 highway in Ghent. She repeatedly exceeded the speed limit over time, which caused her to collect a lot of violations.

How did a retired woman from Brussels accumulate €13,000 in speeding fines?

When the authorities discovered that her car inspection had expired after several checks things got worse. This means that even though she got fines and warnings, she didn’t make sure her car was safe and legal, which made her situation worse. Authorities mentioned that this case shows that she broke important laws about speeding and car inspections and could face big fines or other penalties.

The retired woman from Brussels has to pay a huge total of 13,000 euros in fines because of her 32 speeding tickets on the E40 in Ghent. Each ticket was counted separately, which is why the amount is so high. On top of the fines, she also has to cover the legal costs for each of the 32 cases, making her financial situation even worse. The woman said she wasn’t paying attention, but that didn’t help her situation. She got many speeding tickets and her car inspection was out of date, which led to a big bill. She mentioned that not being careful can lead to serious money problems.
