Sint-Niklaas (Brussels Morning): In Sint-Niklaas, a temporary road sign directing drivers to “Waasland Schopping” instead of “Waasland Shopping” has become an online sensation sparking laughter and jokes among locals and internet users.

In Sint-Niklaas near the N70 there’s a  temporary road sign causing a stir on social media. The sign is supposed to point drivers to Waasland Schopping but instead says “Waasland Shopping.” This little mistake has become a source of laughter online with lots of people sharing pictures and jokes about it. It’s a classic case of a small error turning into a big online hit showing how even temporary signs need to be accurate.

How a misspelled road sign in Sint-Niklaas became an online sensations?
