Sarhan Basem

On Monday afternoon, the draw for the play-off round of the European cup tournaments will take place at the headquarters of the European Football Confederation (UEFA). Then Union will get more clarity about the trajectory towards the group stage of champion football.

Possible opponent in the play-off round of the Europa League is vice-champion Racing Genk. In addition, Union can meet the Greek Olympiacos, but also Lugano and the winners of Slavia Prague-Dnipro1, Zalgiris Vilnius-BK Häcken, Qarabag-HJK Helsinki, Zrinjski Mostar-Breidablik, Sheriff Tiraspol-BATE Borisov and Astana-Ludogorets Razgrad.

If Union is eliminated in the play-off round of the Europa League, then there is still the group stage of the Conference League as a safety net. The draw procedure for the play-off round will be announced on Monday at 9 a.m.
