Antwerp (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): A 13-year-old boy in Antwerp was arrested for selling cannabis, possessing 45 grams, a knuckle duster, and cash. Both he and an adult customer face legal consequences for drug involvement.

In Antwerp, a 13-year-old boy was caught selling cannabis after police saw him talking to an adult man on the Belgielei. When the police checked, they found 5 grams of cannabis with the man and 45 grams with the boy, showing that he was heavily involved in selling drugs.

What happened when a 13-year-old was arrested for selling cannabis?

It has been said that along with the drugs, the boy had 100 euros in cash and a knuckle duster, which is a weapon used for protection. His arrest raises serious worries about young people getting involved in illegal activities, like drug dealing and having weapons, which can be very dangerous. After the 13-year-old boy was arrested for selling cannabis, the police kept investigating and found his customer, an adult. When they went to the customer’s home, they found more cannabis, showing that he was also involved in drug-related activities.

Because of what happened, the juvenile court has taken steps to deal with the 13-year-old’s involvement in selling drugs. At the same time, the adult customer has been called to go before a judge to face legal action for his part in the drug trade. It has been said that drug-related crimes are connected to how the legal system responds to both young and adult offenders.
