Emergency crews reached the area quickly and found the victim with a severe leg fracture. He received medical care on the spot before being taken to the hospital. Doctors later confirmed that the man’s injuries are serious, but his life is not in danger.
What caused the latest worker accident at H.Essers Genk site?
The exact cause of the accident is still unknown. The incident happened in a busy section of the logistics company. The Limburg public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation and is working with workplace safety inspectors.
