Wichelen (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Wichelen is building a new fire station near Moleken on an industrial estate. Mayor Kenneth Taylor (Samen) says it will have modern equipment, a training tower, and a community room, ready in 6 years.

Wichelen, a town in Belgium, is building a new fire station. The city has already bought the land and is building a road to the new station. According to the officials, the old fire station is close to schools, which isn’t safe because fire trucks are always going in and out.

According to the mayor, the old fire station isn’t good enough. They’re going to use the old fire station for something else, like parking or more school space. The town is getting bigger, so they need more space. He mentioned that the new fire station will help keep people safe and make the city better.

Our current fire station is already quite old,

says Mayor Kenneth Taylor (Samen).

And it’s important that we’re ready for the future

How will Wichelen’s new fire station improve safety and response?

Wichelen’s new fire station will be located near Moleken, on an industrial estate.  Officials mentioned that this is a good location because it is close to 2 main roads. The new fire station will be like other modern fire stations. It will have areas for training firefighters and for people in the community to use.

They mentioned that it will have a training tower, a new dispatch area, and a community room. These features will help firefighters do their jobs better and help keep people in Wichelen safe. The new fire station is being built because Wichelen is growing, and the old fire station is not big enough anymore.

Wichelen is located near 3 rivers and faces a risk of flooding. The mayor wants to make sure the fire department is ready for floods and other emergencies. He mentioned that the new fire station will be built to handle these challenges. It will be finished in 6 years.

According to the mayor, the new fire station will have modern equipment and will be able to respond to emergencies quickly. The new fire station will be built to withstand floods and will have modern equipment.

It is also important that Wichelen has a good fire station and a brigade that can respond at any time,

the mayor says.
