Turnhout (Brussels Morning Newspaper): Heilig Graf School has expanded by purchasing an old carpentry workshop, creating two classrooms, a meeting room, and a beauty salon for 7th-year Aesthetic Body Care students. Coordinator Nathalie Rosy highlights the salon’s role in enhancing customer service skills, with operations starting in November.

Heilig Graf School has expanded by buying an old carpentry workshop behind the main building. They turned it into two new classrooms, a meeting room, and a beauty salon. This change helps the school make better use of the space and provides more learning opportunities for students.

What will the new beauty salon at Heilig Graf School offer students?

It has been said that the new beauty salon at Heilig Graf School is great for 7th-year students in the Aesthetic Body Care program. They now have a special place to practice their skills using real salon equipment, which helps them learn how to work in a beauty salon. Working in the salon as part of their classes, students gain hands-on experience, learn customer service, and develop business skills.

Students at Heilig Graf School are using new materials in the beauty salon. Coordinator Nathalie Rosy says this will help them learn customer service skills. The salon has a reception area for greeting customers and rooms for practicing treatments like body care, foot care, facials, and makeup. From November, the students will be able to welcome customers into the salon.
