Warsaw (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Poland’s Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski informed reporters that he could confirm that supplies of arms from the U.S. to Ukraine via Poland have resumed and Starlink satellite internet services are operational.

During a press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sabiha in Warsaw, he stated that Poland was satisfied with the new proposals for Ukraine.

Moreover, Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz also said that Poland is prepared to resume the transport of American aid to Ukraine through its territory. He expressed readiness to activate Poland’s Jasionka hub, maintaining full operational capabilities for American support.

In a TVN24 interview, Kosiniak-Kamysz acknowledged that, after several days of halted negotiations, a return to discussions was a crucial and positive measure.

“We have to take this at face value, as an important step in returning to talks,”

He also said.

“We are fully prepared to resume American support,”

The minister added.

How does the 30-day ceasefire proposal impact Ukraine and Russia?

A day earlier, the U.S. agreed to resume military assistance and intelligence sharing with Ukraine after Kyiv stated it was ready to back Washington’s proposal for a 30-day ceasefire with Russia, the two sides said in a joint statement.

During more than eight hours of discussions with Ukrainian officials in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Marco Rubio announced that the U.S. would now extend an offer to Russia, and the ball is in Moscow’s court.

“Our hope is that the Russians will answer ‘yes’ as quickly as possible, so we can get to the second phase of this, which is real negotiations,”

He told reporters, in reference to U.S. President Donald Trump.

Rubio stated the US wanted a full deal with both Russia and Ukraine

“as soon as possible.”

The Ukrainian president said the ceasefire would go into effect as soon as Russia agreed.

“When the agreements come into force, during these 30 days of ‘silence,’ we will have time to prepare with our partners at the level of working documents all the aspects for reliable peace and long-term security,”

Zelenskiy stated.
