Sint-Niklaas (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): Jens De Wilde and Mathias van Berkenboom are hosting the Night of the Teacher for 1,200 teachers in Waasland tonight at the Casino concert hall, celebrating Teacher’s Day with music and dancing.

Teachers Jens De Wilde and Mathias van Berkenboom are starting a new event called the Night of the Teacher. It’s meant to bring together teachers from the Waasland area for a fun after-work party. There will be music to dance to and chances for teachers to meet and connect, letting them relax and celebrate their work in a lively setting.

What can educators expect from the Night of the Teacher in Sint-Niklaas?

According to Jens and Mathias, there aren’t any similar events for teachers in the Waasland area, unlike Hasselt, where a popular teacher party is held at the Versuz venue. They believe that their new event, the Night of the Teacher, will fill this gap by giving teachers a local chance to connect and celebrate Teacher’s Day in a fun way. The event will feature music for dancing and opportunities to socialize, helping to create a sense of community among educators. This initiative shows their commitment to improving the teaching experience in the region by bringing teachers together and recognizing their hard work.

It has been said that Jens De Wilde and Mathias van Berkenboom are putting together the Night of the Teacher to celebrate the hard work of teachers, showing they deserve recognition like students. This event is happening the night before the Kick-Off in Sint-Niklaas, giving teachers a fun chance to relax and meet each other.  They mentioned that music and dancing is a great way for teachers to enjoy themselves and connect with their colleagues. The Aftrap, a student party that started last year, will host this event at the Casino concert hall tonight on 3rd October, which is almost sold out, with space for about 1,200 teachers.
